Hefei University of Technology was approved to offer the Master of Finance degree in 2014, and the Master of Finance (MF) Education Center of the School of Economics is responsible for the daily education, teaching, and management of master’s students in Finance.

The Master of Finance (MF) Education Center upholds the school spirit of “Virtue, Rigor, Integrity, and Creativity” and the talent cultivation philosophy of “integrating Chinese and Western cultures in addition to uniting knowledge and action.” The center also focuses on three specialized areas: “corporate finance, capital markets, and big data and financial technology”. To support these areas, the university has implemented a “dual tutor system” and leverages its professional faculty, comprehensive curriculum, extensive practical platforms, unique cultivation culture, and pragmatic management service team. With these resources, we provide students with exceptional platforms for career planning, studying, practicing, exchanging ideas, and finding employment or pursuing further studies. 

Our goal is to continuously cultivate and produce high-level students who possess comprehensive skills, a solid foundation in economic and financial theory, and the ability to analyze and solve practical problems. These students are well-equipped to serve in various government financial management departments as well as in banks, securities firms, insurance companies, funds, trusts, futures and investment companies, and corporate financial management and capital operations departments.

Those who pass the National Entrance Examination for a master’s degree, are officially admitted by Hefei University of Technology, complete the credits stipulated in the program, and successfully defend their master’s thesis, will be awarded a master’s degree in finance from Hefei University of Technology.

Educational Mode

Classes are held Monday to Friday; the program lasts 3 years and is suitable for full-time study.

Planned Enrollment (excluding quotas for Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan, and international students)

The full-time Master of Finance (MF) program at Hefei University of Technology will admit 74 students in 2024. The final number of available places will be determined and announced by the university. The actual enrollment number will be adjusted by the university in accordance with the enrollment plan issued by the Ministry of Education, as well as the development of the university’s disciplines, the number of enrolled supervisors.
