I. Introduction to the Australian National University

Founded in 1946 and located in Canberra, the capital of Australia, the Australian National University (ANU) is a globally renowned top-tier institution. In the 2023 QS World University Rankings, ANU is ranked 30th, consistently holding the top position in Australia for several consecutive years.

II. Program Overview

The Crawford School of Public Policy of the Australian National University, offers Graduate Certificate Programs. The current graduate students from the School of Economics at Hefei University of Technology can apply for them. Available programs include Environmental and Resource Economics, International and Development Economics, Public Policy, Public Management, Policy Design and Analysis, Climate Policy, and Environmental Management.

ANU offers two intakes per year, allowing applicants to choose between January (Semester 1) and June (Semester 2) for enrollment. Admitted students will undertake a 0.5-year full-time program at the Crawford School of Public Policy. Both online and offline options are available. Credits earned in the certificate program within seven years can be counted toward a master's degree in the corresponding field. Upon successful completion of the program and meeting ANU's certificate awarding requirements, students will receive a Graduate Certificate from the Australian National University.

III. Application Requirements

1. Educational Background and Grade Requirements

Bachelor's degree with an undergraduate weighted average no less than 75%.

2. English Language Requirements

IELTS overall score of 6.5 (each component no less than 6.0) or equivalent English proficiency.
